قَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ : قَدِمَ وَفْدُ بَجِيلَةَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : ابْدَؤُوا بِالْأَحْمَسِينَ وَدَعَا لَنَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tariq bin Shihab (may Allah be pleased with him) that a delegation of the tribe of Bajilah came into the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed (the Companions) and said: "Begin (your giving and favours) with Banu Ahmas," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for goodness and blessing for us.
Imam al-Tayalisi narrated it in his Musnad (hadith no. 4152); its chain contains Mukhariq and Tariq bin Shihab. This narration mentions the virtue of the tribe of Ahmas and the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) supplication for good for them.
