قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ : وُلِدْتُ لِسَنَتَيْنِ مَضَتَا مِنْ خِلَافَةِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ .
It is narrated from Imam Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "I was born after two years of the caliphate of Sayyiduna Umar al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with him) had passed."
The chain of this statement is sahih (authentic), and Imam Ahmad bin Mani' recorded it in his Musnad.
