It is narrated from Sulaym bin Amir (may Allah have mercy on him): I asked Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) how old he was in the blessed time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He replied: "No one before you except you has asked me about this. I was thirty-three years old at that time. And I remember the scene when I attended one of his (peace and blessings be upon him) sermons: he (peace and blessings be upon him) began to turn the chest of his she-camel towards me, until it almost pushed me away from listening to the sermon or moved me from my place, so I set my shoulder against the chest of that she-camel and pushed it away."
Imam Ahmad bin Mani' narrated it, and all of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
