وَقَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - قَالَتْ : مَا بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَرِيَّةً قَطُّ فِيهِمْ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إِلَّا أَمَّرَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ . مُخْتَصَرًا .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never sent out any military detachment in which Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) took part without appointing him as their commander."
