وَقَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْجُعْفِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : إِنَّا أَنْشَأْنَاهُنَّ إِنْشَاءً فَجَعَلْنَاهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًا قَالَ : مِنْهُنَّ الثَّيِّبُ ، وَغَيْرُ الثَّيِّبِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin Yazid al-Ju'fi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say concerning this statement of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: "Indeed, We have produced them (the wives of the people of Paradise) in a special creation (anew), and made them virgins, devoted to their husbands and of equal age" [Surah al-Waqi'ah: 35-37]: "They include women who were previously married (thayyib, widowed or divorced) in the world, and also those who were unmarried."
