قَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، ثَنَا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، ثَنَا شُجَاعٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْوَاقِعَةِ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ لَمْ تُصِبْهُ فَاقَةٌ أَبَدًا ، فَكَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - يَأْمُرُ بَنَاتِهِ بِقِرَاءَتِهَا كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ .
3742 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ابْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُنِيبٍ الْعَدَنِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي السَّرِيُّ بْنُ يَحْيَى بِهِ .
3742 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ابْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُنِيبٍ الْعَدَنِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي السَّرِيُّ بْنُ يَحْيَى بِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites Surah al-Waqi'ah every night will never be afflicted by poverty and want." And Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to command his daughters too to recite it every night.
Al-Harith transmitted this hadith through the route of al-Abbas bin al-Fadl, al-Sari bin Yahya, Shuja' and Abu Zabyah; and Imam Abu Ya'la also recorded it through Ishaq bin Abi Isra'il, Muhammad bin Munib al-Adani and al-Sari bin Yahya, from them.
Al-Harith transmitted this hadith through the route of al-Abbas bin al-Fadl, al-Sari bin Yahya, Shuja' and Abu Zabyah; and Imam Abu Ya'la also recorded it through Ishaq bin Abi Isra'il, Muhammad bin Munib al-Adani and al-Sari bin Yahya, from them.
