وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - ، قَالَ : حُورٌ مَقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ - قَالَ : الدُّرُّ الْمُجَوَّفُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the statement of Allah Almighty: "Fair maidens secluded in pavilions" [Surah al-Rahman: 72], that he said in its explanation: "(These pavilions are) precious pearls that are hollow inside (that is, shaped like tents)."
Imam Musaddad related this report in his Musnad, and its chain is sahih (authentic); it is mawquf (a statement of the Companion himself) on Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
