قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، ثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُذِنَ لِي أَنْ أُحَدِّثَ عَنْ ( مَلَكٍ ) قَدْ مَرَقَتْ رِجْلَاهُ ( الْأَرْضَ ) السَّابِعَةَ وَالْعَرْشُ عَلَى مَنْكِبِهِ ، يَقُولُ : سُبْحَانَكَ أَيْنَ كُنْتَ وَأَيْنَ تَكُونُ "
صَحِيحٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been permitted (by Allah Almighty) to speak about an angel whose two feet have pierced through the seventh earth and on whose shoulder is the Divine Throne. He (the angel, constantly declaring the glory and holiness of Allah) says: 'Subhanaka ayna kunta wa ayna takun' (Glory be to You! Where were You (in Your majesty and grandeur) before, and where will You be (that is, Your greatness and loftiness are beyond every limit and every confinement of place))."
