قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : " الْأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ ، وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ " .
مَوْقُوفٌ صَحِيحٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Souls (human spirits) are like assembled armies; those of them that became acquainted (in the world of souls) form bonds of affection and harmony (in this world too), and those that remained strangers there remain at variance and disagreement (in this world too)."
