It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever asks Allah Almighty seven times, saying 'As'alullahal-jannah' (I ask Allah for Paradise), Paradise itself pleads: 'Allahumma adkhilhul-jannah' (O Allah, admit him into Paradise). And whoever seeks refuge from the Fire seven times, the Fire itself cries out: 'Allahumma a'idhhu minan-nar' (O Allah, grant him Your refuge from the punishment of the Fire)."
Al-Tayalisi recorded this hadith through the route of Ya'la bin Ata as a saying of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), while Abu Ya'la and al-Bazzar transmitted it through Yunus bin Khabbab as marfu', a saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
