حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، ثَنَا ( الطَّيِّبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ) ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَةَ ، تَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا ، تَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : ( مَنْ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ أَوْ قَالَ الْغَدَاةَ ، فَقَعَدَ مَقْعَدَهُ فَلَمْ يَلْغُ شَيْء مِنْ أَمْرِ الدُّنْيَا ، وَيَذْكُرُ اللهَ تَعَالَى حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ الضُّحَى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ ، خَرَجَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ ، لَا ذَنْبَ لَهُ ) .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever performs the Fajr prayer (or he (peace and blessings be upon him) used the words 'the morning prayer'), then remains sitting in that same place and does not engage in any idle or futile matter of worldly affairs, but keeps remembering Allah Almighty continuously until he prays the four rak'ahs of Duha, he comes out of his sins as pure and clean as he was (sinless) on the day his mother gave birth to him; no sin remains upon him."
Musnad Abi Ya'la: 4381, al-Mu'jam al-Awsat of al-Tabarani: 7714. The narrator al-Tayyib bin Sulayman in its chain is weak; however, such hadith are transmitted in the virtues of deeds.
