وَقَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْزَمٍ ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَأَنْ أُجَالِسَ قَوْمًا يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ ، وَلَأَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللهَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ ثَمَانِيَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ دِيَةِ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمُ ( اثْنَيْ ) عَشَرَ أَلْفًا ، فَحَسَبْنَا دِيَاتِهِمْ وَنَحْنُ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَبَلَغَ سِتَّةً وَتِسْعِينَ أَلْفًا ، وَهَا هُنَا مَنْ يَقُولُ : أَرْبَعَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، وَاللهِ مَا قَالَ إِلَّا ثَمَانِيَةً ، دِيَةُ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا " .
3396 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( لَأَنْ أَقْعُدَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، وَلَأَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ( بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ ) حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ ثَمَانِيَةَ رِقَابٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ) .
3396 \ 3 - وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، ثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِلَفْظِ : لَأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الْفَجْرَ وَأَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ تَعَالَى إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ ، وَلَأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الْعَصْرَ وَأَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ ( أَنْ ) أُعْتِقَ ثَمَانِيَةَ رِقَابٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، دِيَةُ كُلِّ رَقَبَةٍ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا .
3396 \ 4 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ - فَرَّقَهُمَا - قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( لَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ تَعَالَى مِنْ غُدْوَةٍ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ ) .
3396 \ 5 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، ثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( لَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ تَعَالَى مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ ثَمَانِيَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ) .
3396 \ 6 - وَحَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، بِهَذَا نَحْوَهُ وَزَادَ : كُلُّهُمْ مُسْلِمٍ .

3396 \ 5 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، ثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( لَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ تَعَالَى مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ ثَمَانِيَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ) .
3396 \ 6 - وَحَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، بِهَذَا نَحْوَهُ وَزَادَ : كُلُّهُمْ مُسْلِمٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My sitting with people who are engaged in the remembrance of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, from the Fajr prayer until the sun rises is dearer to me than all the worldly blessings upon which the sun rises; and my remembering Allah from after the Asr prayer until the sun sets is more pleasing to me than freeing eight slaves from the descendants of Sayyiduna Isma'il (peace be upon him), the blood money of each of whom is twelve thousand (dirhams or dinars)." The narrator says: Sitting in a gathering, we calculated their blood money and it came to ninety-six thousand. And here there are some people who mention four slaves from the descendants of Isma'il (instead of eight), but by Allah, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said the word eight, the blood money of each of whom was twelve thousand.
Imam al-Tayalisi transmitted it through Yazid bin Aban al-Raqashi.
Ahmad bin Mani' narrated through the route of Hammad from Yazid al-Raqashi that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My sitting with people who remember Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, from after the Fajr prayer until sunrise is dearer to me than freeing four slaves from the descendants of Isma'il; and my remembering Allah from after Asr until sunset is dearer to me than freeing eight souls from the descendants of Isma'il."
Al-Harith transmitted the narration, also through Yazid al-Raqashi, in these words: "My performing the Fajr prayer and sitting with those who remember Allah Almighty until the sun rises is dearer to me than all the things upon which the sunlight falls; and my performing the Asr prayer and sitting with those who remember Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, until sunset is more pleasing to me than freeing eight slaves from the descendants of Isma'il, the blood money of each slave being twelve thousand."
Abu Ya'la transmitted a narration through Hammad bin Zayd from Yazid al-Raqashi that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My sitting with a group who remember Allah Almighty from early morning until sunrise is dearer to me than all the things upon which the sun rises."
In another narration of Abu Ya'la, through al-Mu'alla bin Ziyad, it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My sitting with those who remember Allah Almighty from the Asr prayer until sunset is more pleasing to me than freeing eight slaves from the descendants of Isma'il."
Khalaf bin Hisham narrated the like of it through Hammad, and added in it that all of them (the freed slaves) should be Muslims.
Imam al-Tayalisi transmitted it through Yazid bin Aban al-Raqashi.
