It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fear the cry of the oppressed and his supplication against (the oppressor)."
The chain of this narration contains Atiyyah bin Sa'd al-Awfi, who is a weak narrator according to the majority of hadith scholars; however, the command to fear the supplication of the oppressed against one and to guard against it is established by other authentic and reliable hadith.
