Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah 3323 — Sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ

وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : قُلْتُ لِأَبِي أُسَامَةَ : أَحَدَّثَكُمْ سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو الصَّبَّاحِ ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً صَادِقًا مِنْ قِبَلِ نَفْسِهِ إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللهُ تَعَالَى لَهُ بِهَا عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ ، وَكَتَبَ لَهُ بِهَا عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ ، وَمَحَا عَنْهُ بِهَا عَشْرَ سَيِّئَاتٍ ، وَرَفَعَ لَهُ بِهَا عَشْرَ دَرَجَاتٍ " ؟ فَأَقَرَّ بِهِ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَقَالَ : نَعَمْ .
3323 \ 2 - رَوَاهُ ( النَّسَائِيُّ ) فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ يَحْيَى ، أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ بِهِ .
( 130 ) وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي أَوَّلِ أَحَادِيثِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ عَلَيْهِمُ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ .
3323 \ 2 - رَوَاهُ ( النَّسَائِيُّ ) فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ يَحْيَى ، أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ بِهِ .
( 130 ) وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي أَوَّلِ أَحَادِيثِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ عَلَيْهِمُ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Burdah bin Niyar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no servant who sends blessings upon me once, with sincerity of heart and complete devotion, except that Allah Almighty writes for him in return ten blessings (mercies), records ten good deeds in his record of deeds, erases ten of his sins, and raises him ten degrees." Imam Ishaq said: I asked Abu Usamah: Did Sa'id bin Sa'id Abu al-Sabbah narrate to you, from Sa'id bin Umayr bin Uqbah, from his paternal uncle Sayyiduna Abu Burdah bin Niyar (may Allah be pleased with him), this saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? Abu Usamah affirmed it and said: Yes.
Imam al-Nasa'i recorded it in his book 'Amal al-Yawm wa al-Laylah' through Zakariyya bin Yahya and Abu Kurayb; and the hadith of Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) is among the first hadith of the chapter on the Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them).
