( 125 ) فِي الْأَشْرِبَةِ مِنْ طَرِيقِ مَالِكِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ ثَقِيفَ حَدِيثٌ يَدْخُلُ فِي هَذَا .
وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : مَا اسْتَقَرَّ لِعَبْدٍ ثَنَاءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى يَسْتَقِرَّ فِي السَّمَاءِ .
وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : مَا اسْتَقَرَّ لِعَبْدٍ ثَنَاءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى يَسْتَقِرَّ فِي السَّمَاءِ .
In the Book of Drinks (Kitab al-Ashribah), a hadith narrated through the route of Malik bin al-Sabbah from a man of the tribe of Thaqif also falls under this chapter.
Imam Musaddad (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Yahya informed us from Hisham, he from Hafsah, and she through al-Rabi' bin Ziyad, that it is narrated from Ka'b al-Ahbar (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "Good repute and praise do not gain permanence and stability for any servant on the face of the earth until it is established and confirmed in the heaven (with Allah, the Mighty and Majestic)."
