It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sharpness, vehemence and quickness of temper (that is, quickly becoming angry or a fiery nature) come over even the best and choicest people of my Ummah."
The chain of this narration contains a narrator named Sallam bin Sulaym al-Tawil, who is matruk al-hadith (abandoned in hadith), because of which this narration is extremely weak from a scholarly standpoint.
