It is narrated from Yahya bin Ja'dah that some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) visited Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) in his illness and said to him: "O Abu Abdullah, glad tidings to you! You will join Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) at the Pool (al-Kawthar)." Pointing towards the upper and lower parts of his house, he said: "Then what will become of this worldly wealth and abundance? While the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said that as much of the world's goods suffices any one of you as the provisions of a traveller on his mount."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it.
