قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْهَرَوِيُّ ، وَأَبُو مَعْمَرٍ قَالَا : ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَرَّاقُ ، ثَنَا مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيُّ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَلْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " يَا سَلْمَانُ ، إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ " .
Atiyyah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "O Salman! Indeed, this world is a prison for the believer and a paradise (-like place) for the disbeliever."
Musnad Abi Ya'la: 3137. Its chain contains Sa'id bin Muhammad al-Warraq, a da'if (weak) narrator; however, the original text of this hadith is sahih and established, since it is narrated in Sahih Muslim (2956) from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him).
