الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، ثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْقَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : ( طُفْتُ مَعَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ ، فَرَكِبَ فَلَمْ يُصْبِحْ حَتَّى أَتَى ذَا طُوًى ، فَرَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ) .
It is narrated from Abd al-Rahman bin Abd al-Qari (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "I performed the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah with Sayyiduna Umar al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with him) after the Fajr prayer. Then he mounted his riding animal and set off, and the light of morning had not yet fully spread when he reached the place called 'Dhu Tuwa'. Having arrived there, he performed two rak'ahs (of tawaf)."
Imam al-Harith bin Abi Usamah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated it in his Musnad, and all the men of its chain are thiqat (trustworthy) and reliable.
