قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ، ثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، ثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ عَرَبِيٍّ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ إِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ " .
وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ ، وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي صَحِيحَيْهِمَا عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ .
( 2 ) حَدِيثُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ فِي آنِيَةِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَأْتِي فِي تَرْجَمَتِهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْمَنَاقِبِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى .
وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ ، وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي صَحِيحَيْهِمَا عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ .
( 2 ) حَدِيثُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ فِي آنِيَةِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَأْتِي فِي تَرْجَمَتِهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْمَنَاقِبِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the one who drinks (water or any beverage) from vessels of gold and silver is in reality gulping down the fire of Hell into his belly." Imam al-Bukhari and Imam Muslim also narrated this hadith in their two Sahihs from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her); and the hadith of Abu Uthman concerning the vessels of the polytheists will come, if Allah Almighty wills, in the Book of Virtues (Kitab al-Manaqib), in the section on him.
