وَقَالَ إسحاق: أخبرنا أبو عامر الْعَقَدِيُّ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ وهو ابْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ قَالَ: قَالَتْ صَفِيَّةُ حَيْثُ كَانَتْ فِي أَهْلِهَا: رَأَيْتُ كَأَنِّي وَهَذَا الَّذِي أَرْسَلَهُ اللَّهُ وَمَلَكٌ يُسَيِّرُنَا بِجَنَاحِهِ فَرَدُّوا عَلَيْهَا رُؤْيَاهَا وَقَالُوا لَهَا قَوْلًا شَدِيدًا.
Humayd bin Hilal (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), when she was with her family, said: I saw (in a dream) as if I and this (person) whom Allah has sent (as a Messenger) (were together), and an angel was carrying us along on his wings. So her family rejected her dream and said harsh things to her.
