Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah 2515 — Cupping

It is narrated from al-Sari bin Yahya that he heard Muhammad bin Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) say to a young man who intended to have cupping, that is hijamah, done at the beginning of the month: "Do not have hijamah done at the beginning of the month, for having hijamah in the early days of the month is not beneficial."
Imam Musaddad (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded it in his Musnad.
