قَالَ عَبْدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ لُقْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : الْأَكْلُ فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ دَنَاءَةٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Eating (openly) in the markets is baseness, meanness and lack of dignity."
