قَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : صَنَعَ رَجُلٌ [طَعَامًا وَدَعَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابَهُ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ :] إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَخُوكَ صَنَعَ طَعَامًا وَدَعَاكَ ، أَفْطِرْ وَاقْضِي [يَوْمًا] مَكَانَهُ .
2424 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ نَحْوَهُ .
2424 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ نَحْوَهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man prepared food and invited the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions. One man (among them) said: "I am fasting." At this the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your brother has prepared food and invited you, so break your fast and fast another day in its place."
Al-Tayalisi narrated it from Muhammad bin Abi Humayd, from Ibrahim bin Ubayd bin Rifa'ah, from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him); and Ahmad bin Mani' also narrated something similar through Hammad bin Khalid, from Muhammad bin Abi Humayd, from Ibrahim bin Ubayd.
