It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) prepared a sweet dish (khabis) from honey, clarified butter and wheat, then brought it in a large bowl to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is this?" He said: "O Prophet of Allah! This is something that the non-Arabs make from wheat, honey and clarified butter, and they call it khabis." The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate it.
