It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Eat endive (hindiba') and do not dislike it, for there is no day that passes without a drop of the water of Paradise falling upon it."
This report is mentioned in the Musnad of al-Harith; however, because its chain contains an abandoned (matruk) narrator such as Aban bin Abi Ayyash, this report does not reach the level of being established by scholarly and technical standards, and the hadith scholars have declared it munkar or mawdu' (fabricated).
