وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ : حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِي عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا يَقُولُ : الْحَيَّةُ أَفْسَقُ الْفَسَقَةِ ، فَاقْتُلُوهَا " .
It is narrated from al-Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) that he heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) say: "The snake is the most rebellious and harmful (fasiq) of all harmful creatures, so kill it (wherever you find it)."
