It is narrated from the father of Ibrahim, the mu'adhdhin of the people of Madinah, that he said: I saw Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) at the musalla (the place of prayer). He asked two men: "Do you have anything to sacrifice?" They both replied: "No." At this, Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) took them to his house and brought out one of his goats. He supplicated: 'Taqabbal Allahu min Abi Hurayrah wa min fulanin wa fulan' (May Allah accept from Abu Hurayrah, and from so-and-so and so-and-so, that is, from these two men). Then he took its liver or some part of it, and they all ate from it. After that he divided it into three portions. So the two men went back with two thirds of it, and one third was taken into the house of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him).
