قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَعَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ .
وَعَنْ شَيْخٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ : إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْرَهُونَ نَتْفَ الشَّيْبِ .
وَعَنْ شَيْخٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ : إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْرَهُونَ نَتْفَ الشَّيْبِ .
Imam Musaddad (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Hushaym (may Allah have mercy on him) informed us, from Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) through Mansur, and from Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) through Yunus (narrating various reports).
And Hushaym (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from Imam al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) through an (unnamed) shaykh that he said: "The Companions and the righteous predecessors disliked plucking out white hairs and considered it disapproved (makruh)."
