قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِي ، ثَنَا حَيْوَةُ ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَقِيلٍ ، قَالَ : إِنَّهُ رَأَى شَعَرًا مِنْ شَعَرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَصْبُوغًا بِالْحِنَّاءِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نُخَضِّضُهُ بِالْمَاءِ ، وَنَشْرَبُ ذَلِكَ الْمَاءَ .
2257 \ 2 - وَبِهِ إِلَى حَيْوَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْوَلِيدُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ [قَالَ] : إِنَّهُ رَأَى شَعَرًا مِنْ شَعَرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَصْبُوغًا بِالْحِنَّاءِ [وَلَيْسَ بِشَدِيدِ الْحُمْرَةِ ، قَالَ : وَكُلُّنَا نَغْسِلُهُ بِالْمَاءِ ] .
2257 \ 2 - وَبِهِ إِلَى حَيْوَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْوَلِيدُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ [قَالَ] : إِنَّهُ رَأَى شَعَرًا مِنْ شَعَرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَصْبُوغًا بِالْحِنَّاءِ [وَلَيْسَ بِشَدِيدِ الْحُمْرَةِ ، قَالَ : وَكُلُّنَا نَغْسِلُهُ بِالْمَاءِ ] .
Abu Aqil says that he saw one of the hairs of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dyed with henna. "We used to stir it in water and then drink that water."
And with the same chain it is narrated from Abu Malik that he saw one of the hairs of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dyed with henna, and it was not a very deep red. And he said: "All of us used to wash it with water."
