وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ نُبَيْطِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ قَالَتْ : " أَوْصَى أَبُو أُمَامَةَ أَسْعَدُ بْنُ زُرَارَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأُمِّي وَخَالَتِي ، فَأَتَاهُ حُلِيٌّ فِيهِ ذَهَبٌ وَلُؤْلُؤٌ ، يُقَالُ لَهُ : الرِّعَاثُ ، فَحَلَّاهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ تِلْكَ الرِّعَاثِ ، فَأَدْرَكْتُ ذَلِكَ الْحُلِيَّ عِنْدَ أَهْلِي .
It is narrated from Zaynab bint Nubayt bin Jabir that she said: "Abu Umamah As'ad bin Zurarah (may Allah be pleased with him) entrusted my mother and my maternal aunt (to the care of) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in his will. Then (once) some jewellery containing gold and pearls came to him (peace and blessings be upon him), called 'al-ri'ath'. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) adorned my mother and my aunt with those very ri'ath. I found that jewellery still with my family (for a long time)."
