بَابُ تَحْرِيمِ الحرير عَلَى الرجال وإباحته للنساء وَجَوَازِ بيعه لِمَنْ يجوز لَهُ لبسه

وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ ، عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ شَمَّاسٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ : كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فَجَاءَ ابْنَانِ ، عَلَيْهِمَا قَمِيصَانِ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ ، يَشُقُّهُ عَنْهُمَا وَقَالَ : إِنَّمَا هَذَا لِلنِّسَاءِ وَلَيْسَ لِلرِّجَالِ " .
Musaddad said: Yahya narrated to us from Fudayl bin Ghazwan, from al-Muhajir bin Shammas, from his paternal uncle, who said that he was with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) when two boys came, both wearing silk shirts. Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) tore those shirts to shreds off their bodies and said: "This (silk clothing) is only for women, not for men."
