وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ مَصْبُوغَانِ بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ : رِدَاءٌ ، وَعِمَامَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing two garments dyed with saffron: a cloak and a turban."
