وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا تَقْرَبُهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ : الْمُتَخَلِّقُ ، وَالسَّكْرَانُ ، وَالْجُنُبُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are three people whom the angels do not come near: the man who has applied khaluq (a particular yellow-coloured perfume) like women, the one in a drunken stupor, and the one in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) (for whom a ritual bath is obligatory)."
