قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَسْلَمَ عَلَى أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ صَلَاتَيْنِ ، فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ .
It is narrated from a man (of Banu Layth) (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and accepted Islam on the condition that "he would perform (only) two prayers", and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted this from him.
