It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Hani bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) that Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) to ask him for the share of the near relatives (dhawi al-qurba). Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said to her: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'The share of the near relatives is theirs during my lifetime, but it is not theirs after my death.'" I (Ibn Hajar) say: The other hadith scholars did not record this hadith with this wording, and its narrator Ibn al-Sa'ib is in fact al-Kalbi, who is matruk (abandoned) in hadith.
