وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، نَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَلْقَيْنَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ، وَهُوَ مُتَجَاوِزٌ وَادِيَ الْقُرَى فَقَالَ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ ، إِلَى مَا تَدْعُونَا ؟ قَالَ : إِلَى اللهِ وَحْدَهُ . قَالَ : فَهَذَا الْمَالُ هَلْ أَحَدٌ أَحَقُّ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ ؟ قَالَ : خُمُسٌ لِلهِ تَعَالَى ، وَأَرْبَعَةُ أَخْمِسَةٍ لِهَؤُلَاءِ ، وَإِنِ انْتَزَعْتَ مِنْ جَيْبِكِ سَهْمًا فَلَسْتَ أَحَقَّ بِهِ مِنْ أَخِيكَ . قَالَ : فَمَا هَؤُلَاءِ يَعْنِي الْمَغْضُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ؟ قَالَ : الْيَهُودُ . قَالَ : وَمَا هَؤُلَاءِ يَعْنِي الضَّالِّينَ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : النَّصَارَى .
2065 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَلْقَيْنَ قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِوَادِي الْقُرَى ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، مَا أُمِرْتَ بِهِ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أُمِرْتُ أَنْ تَعْبُدُوا اللهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ، وَأَنْ تُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ ، وَتُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ . فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ ، يَعْنِي الْمَغْضُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْيَهُودُ . قُلْتُ : وَمَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ ، يَعْنِي الضَّالِّينَ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : النَّصَارَى . قُلْتُ : فَلِمَنِ الْمَغْنَمُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَذَكَرَهُ .
2065 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَلْقَيْنَ قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِوَادِي الْقُرَى ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، مَا أُمِرْتَ بِهِ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أُمِرْتُ أَنْ تَعْبُدُوا اللهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ، وَأَنْ تُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ ، وَتُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ . فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ ، يَعْنِي الْمَغْضُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْيَهُودُ . قُلْتُ : وَمَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ ، يَعْنِي الضَّالِّينَ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : النَّصَارَى . قُلْتُ : فَلِمَنِ الْمَغْنَمُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَذَكَرَهُ .
Abdullah bin Shaqiq (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) from Balqayn that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was passing through Wadi al-Qura and said: "O Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! To what do you invite us?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "To Allah alone, who has no partner." He asked: "Then is any one person more entitled to this wealth (the spoils) than another?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One fifth is for Allah Almighty and the other four parts are for these (fighters), and even if you take an arrow out of your quiver, you are not more entitled to it than your (Muslim) brother." He asked: "Who is meant by 'those who have earned (Allah's) anger'?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Jews." He asked again: "And who is meant by 'those who have gone astray'?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Christians (Nasara)." In the narration of Imam Abu Ya'la, that same Companion from Balqayn (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! What have you been commanded?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded that you worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, that you establish the prayer and pay the zakah." Then I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Who is meant by 'those who have earned (Allah's) anger'?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Jews." I asked: "And who is meant by 'those who have gone astray'?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Christians." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! To whom do the spoils of war belong?" And he (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the details given before.
