وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ ، سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ مَنْزِلَةً عِنْدَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ : رَجُلٌ عَلَى مَتْنِ فَرَسِهِ يُخِيفُ الْعَدُوَّ وَيُخِيفُونَهُ .
الْحَدِيثُ مُرْسَلٌ .
الْحَدِيثُ مُرْسَلٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Mubashshir (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "Which of the people is best in rank with Allah Almighty?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man mounted on the back of his horse (on the battlefield), striking fear into the enemy while they strike fear into him." This hadith is mursal.
