Sayyidah Fatimah bint al-Mundhir (may Allah have mercy on her) narrates from Sayyidah Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to teach matters of knowledge to us and to the daughters of her brother. So one of us would take the ritual bath (ghusl) after becoming pure from menstruation, and then continuous yellowness and turbidity, like menstruation, would come to her again. She (Sayyidah Asma, may Allah be pleased with her) would order us: "Refrain from performing the prayer until you see nothing but pure white discharge."
Imam Ishaq bin Rahwayh narrated this report (athar) in his Musnad. Its chain is hasan (good), and it is juristic evidence that yellowness and turbidity seen during the days of menstruation also take the ruling of menstruation until complete whiteness (the sign of purity) is seen.
