قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : جِئْتُ مَحْضَرًا فِي مِثْلِ الرِّيحِ ، فَمَرَرْتُ بِشِرْذِمَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ أَرَ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا بَعْدَهُمْ مِثْلَهُمْ ، مُتَقَلِّدِينَ السُّيُوفَ ، قَرِيبًا مِنَ الثَّلَاثِينَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ ذُعْرًا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "I arrived at a gathering as swiftly as the wind, and I passed, in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), by a group of the Ansar the like of whom, in awe-inspiring appearance, I had never seen before them nor after them; they were about thirty men with their swords girded on. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said (seeing my state): 'You have certainly seen a scene of great fear.'"
