وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ قُرَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا كَرِيمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمِقْدَادِ ، عَنْ ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنَّهُ ضَرَبَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ بِسَهْمَيْنِ لِفَرَسِهِ وَلَهُ بِسَهْمٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Miqdad bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) assigned shares for him from the spoils of war on the day of the Battle of Badr, the details being that he (peace and blessings be upon him) allotted two shares for his horse and one share for him himself.
