وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ ، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شَمِرٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ بْنِ صُوحَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ زَامِلَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْجُذَامِيَّ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ ذِي الْكَلَاعِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ يَقُولُ : إِنَّمَا يُبْعَثُ الْمُقْتَتِلُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى النِّيَّاتِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, those who fight one another (in the world) will be raised (from their graves) on the Day of Resurrection only according to their respective intentions."
