قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، ثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ الْأَخْنَسِ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ سَعْدٌ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يُجْنِبُ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ وَيَخْرُجُ " .
Mus'ab bin Sa'd (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: "Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) would (at times) be in the state of janabah, then he would perform ablution (like that for prayer) and go out."
Imam Musaddad bin Musarhad narrated it in his Musnad, and all the narrators of its chain are thiqat (trustworthy) and reliable.
