وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، ثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ : إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا ، كَانَتْ إِذَا سُئِلَتْ عَنِ الْمُتْعَةِ ، قَالَتْ : " بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ كِتَابُ اللهِ تَعَالَى " ، قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ إِلا عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ ... الْآيَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " فَمَنِ ابْتَغَى غَيْرَ مَا زَوَّجَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى ، أَوْ مَا مَلَّكَهُ - فَقَدْ عَدَا ".
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Mulaykah that when the Mother of the Believers Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked about temporary marriage (mut'ah), she would say: "Between me and you the Book of Allah Almighty is decisive," as Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: "And those who guard their private parts, except from their wives or those (slave-women) their right hands possess, for then they are not to be blamed" (Surah al-Mu'minun: 5-6). Then Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "So whoever seeks any other means besides what Allah Almighty has made lawful for him through marriage or what He has given into his ownership, then indeed such people are the transgressors (of the limits of the Shari'ah)."
