قَالَ عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ : حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ النَّهْدِيُّ ، ثَنَا مِنْدَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ ، عَنْ نُعْمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ شَهِدَ إِمْلَاكَ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ تَعَالَى ، وَالْيَوْمُ بِسَبْعِمِائَةٍ " .
وَأَخْرَجَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا : " يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ يَوْمُ تَزْوِيجٍ وَبَاءَةٍ " . يَأْتِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فِي بَدْءِ الْخَلْقِ .
وَأَخْرَجَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا : " يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ يَوْمُ تَزْوِيجٍ وَبَاءَةٍ " . يَأْتِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فِي بَدْءِ الْخَلْقِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever attends the marriage contract ceremony of a Muslim man, it is as if he fasted one day in the path of Allah Almighty, and that one day (in the path of Allah) is equal to seven hundred days." Furthermore, Imam Abu Ya'la recorded these words from the narration of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "Friday is a day of marriage and consummation (marital union)." The author says that, if Allah Almighty wills, this narration will be repeated in the chapter 'The Beginning of Creation'.
