قَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ لِعَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا : إِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ : فِي الدَّارِ ، وَالْمَرْأَةِ ، وَالْفَرَسِ " .
فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا : لَمْ يَحْفَظْ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ; لِأَنَّهُ دَخَلَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " قَاتَلَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ ! يَقُولُونَ : الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ : فِي الدَّارِ ، وَالْمَرْأَةِ ، وَالْفَرَسِ " . فَسَمِعَ آخِرَ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ أَوَّلَهُ .
رَوَى أَحْمَدُ مَعْنَاهُ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا .
فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا : لَمْ يَحْفَظْ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ; لِأَنَّهُ دَخَلَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " قَاتَلَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ ! يَقُولُونَ : الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ : فِي الدَّارِ ، وَالْمَرْأَةِ ، وَالْفَرَسِ " . فَسَمِعَ آخِرَ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ أَوَّلَهُ .
رَوَى أَحْمَدُ مَعْنَاهُ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that it was said to her that Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ill omen is in three things: the house, the woman and the horse." Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) did not fully preserve this hadith, because he came in while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: 'Qatala Allahu al-Yahud' (May Allah destroy the Jews!) They (the Jews) say: 'Ill omen is in three things: the house, the woman and the horse.' So he heard the last part of the hadith but did not hear its beginning." Imam Ahmad recorded a narration with the same meaning through another chain, via Abu Hassan, from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her).
