ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ هُوَ ابْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ - عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ أَخْبَرَهُ : أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ حِينَ أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِإِجْلَائِهِمْ ، قَالُوا : إِنَّ لَنَا دُيُونًا ! قَالَ : فَخُذُوا وَضَعُوا . قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ : وَأُخْبِرْتُ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَشْهَلِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .
The narrator says: Muhammad bin Ali bin Yazid bin Rukanah informed me that Muhammad bin Umar bin Ali told him: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the Jews to be expelled, they said: "Surely some debts are owed to us (by people)!" So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then collect (your due) and reduce (the amount)." Ibn Jurayj said: And I was informed of a narration like this from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), through Dawud bin al-Husayn, from Abu Abdullah al-Ashhali.
