الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، أَنَا سَوَّارُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : كُلُّ قَرْضٍ جَرَّ مَنْفَعَةً فَهُوَ رِبًا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every loan that draws a benefit is usury (riba)."
