قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهَا : أُمُّ سِنَانٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - أَنَّهَا أَرَادَتِ الْحَجَّ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ لَهَا : اعْتَمِرِي فِي رَمَضَانَ ، فَإِنَّهَا لَكِ حَجَّةٌ .
قَالَ سَعِيدٌ : وَلَا نَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا لِهَذِهِ الْمَرْأَةِ وَحْدَهَا .
1286 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، ثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، بِمَعْنَاهُ .
قَالَ سَعِيدٌ : وَلَا نَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا لِهَذِهِ الْمَرْأَةِ وَحْدَهَا .
1286 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، ثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، بِمَعْنَاهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Sinan al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she intended to attain the honour of performing Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Perform Umrah in Ramadan, for it is equal to a Hajj for you."
Sa'id bin Jubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) said that, as far as we know, this virtue was specifically for this woman alone. Ahmad bin Mani' also narrated a report with the same meaning from Sa'id bin Jubayr through another chain, via Isma'il and Ayyub.
