وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ ، عَنْ عَبَّادٍ ، قَالَ : حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - لَمَّا دَخَلَ بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ قَالَ : لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ ! .
It is narrated from Abbad that he said: It was related to me that when Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) entered Bayt al-Maqdis, he said (this supplication / talbiyah): 'Labbayk Allahumma labbayk' (Here I am in Your court, O Allah, here I am).
